These continueing updates screwing things up isn't worth this headache.Ī little birdy told me to run fallout through f4se in the mod manager and to set fallout in steam to only update when ran through steam.
If I can't get this fixed where I can save these characters, I'm done with F4. Loaded up my Main character and it's affecting that one too, But with that save it actually pops up claiming it's missing a whole bunch of mods even tho every mod is downloaded and activated. It acts like everything is normal until I actually get in-game. The weird thing is tho, That on this particular save it doesn't pop up that any mods are missing when I load. Normally such a quest would run once do their thing show the message and stop running but it seems sometimes drastic updates or changes or possibly even a corupted save can trigger one to restart.Įven a load order change might cause strange things. (usully connected to a fallout 4 exe update or the resulting f4se/mod updates) restarting not sure if there is a fix or not as I usually just start a new game or load an older save when things start going all weird like that since it is such a rare occurance for me.
